Recently there has been a big shift towards agile project management approaches such as DSDM Atern. This has left many organisations who use PRINCE2 to look at their own project delivery processes and decide on how best to incorporate some of the new agile disciplines.

Integrating DSDM Atern into an existing PRINCE2 environment is proving very popular as it provides a very simple way of improving agility within PRINCE2.

DSDM Atern brings in many mechanisms that helps PRINCE2 run in an agile way e.g. it helps manage scope tolerant projects, supports timeboxing and provides several roles that operate at the delivery level.
